Manor Park Golf Sanctuary is well-known for its' social golf groups which meet midweek every day in a friendly and collegial atmosphere and all operate the "disc draw" variable playing partner system.
Disc draw groups are by gender each day - Monday - 9 Hole Ladies; Tuesday's - Men's Senior & Taxi Group; Wednesday's - 18 Hole Ladies and Thursday - Senior Men and Thursday Club. Contact the Office for times.
Chip in Sprig Bar
The clubhouse has a modern ground floor sprig bar with summer deck where members may drop in after a round to a relaxed and informal atmosphere and enjoy a refreshment and something to eat while waiting for their score in the competition for the day to be posted on the bar's screen.
Regular Social Golf Events for Members
The Golf Committee runs popular social golf, (with just a touch of competition), from time to time where a round of golf is followed by a BBQ or some other social activity. Such events include the Muirfield Trophy an annual reciprocal Canadian Foursomes event held with Muirfield Golf Club, Sydney on ANZAC Day, our version of the Rider Cup where it's a part Island of Origin or if not born a Kiwi you will be in the International Team, or a summer afternoon 10-hole pairs Stableford and BBQ.
An Idyllic Venue for that Special Occasion
The club is an ideal venue, catering for 30 - 120 people for Special occasions, Surprise parties, Birthdays, Leaving parties, Corporate Golf Social Days, Engagement parties, Wedding anniversaries and Christmas functions
