Manor Park Golf Course is an 18 Hole ‘Grade A’ Championship course. The course is laid out in beautiful native bush and utilises rolling fairways and wetland areas that are designed to enhance the playing experience. The course is bordered on the eastern side by the Hutt River and one the western side by the Haywards Stream. It is a long narrow course with many holes having tree lined fairways and this, coupled with reactively small greens, offers unique challenges not encountered on many other courses. The combination encourages accuracy and consistency, key factors for playing good golf.
It is a relatively flat, easy walking course offering an ideal environment that you can enjoy time and time again as the character of the course changes throughout the seasons. A unique feature of the course is its ‘non-gender’ based tees. There are four sets of tee blocks ranging from the shorter Green Tees to the Grey then the Terracotta and onto the more challenging Blue Championship Tees. All are rated for both men and women, with the difference between the Grey and Terracotta tees being almost 650 metres in length. Irrespective of which course you decide to play you will have have a completely different and challenging game from each tee.
The following pages show the layout of each of the holes, and by clicking onto each of the holes you will get more details, including yardages from each of the respective tee boxes, together with helpful notes on each hole and the all important ‘Expert Tips’.
